Actress Liza Soberano shared her harrowing childhood experiences in America, including the hardships and abuse she faced, in a candid vlog.

The darkest part.
In the latest episode of the YouTube channel “Can I Come In?”, the actress shared the darkest part of her youth that occurred in America.
In the initial segment of the video, Liza recounted how she was separated from her parents, Jacqueline and John, who had children at a young age.
Liza started : “One thing common is they were so misguided. When I was born, these two kids, they were just two children. They were working multiple jobs to make ends meet. They were kind of like this Bonnie and Clyde duo.”
She revealed that her mother was addicted to drugs, while her father was involved in illegal activities such as drug manufacturing, possession of illegal firearms, and violating restraining orders before his father was deported back to the Philippines.
Liza was left in the care of her mother and younger sibling, which marked a turning point in their lives, particularly when her mother entered into another relationship.
Soberano stated : “My earliest memory of all this trauma was after my mom and dad broke up, my mom started dating this guy named Michael. That guy was really bad news.
“There was a moment where he had stolen a minivan from off the street and then he took me, my mom, and little brother and I was probably 2 at the time and my brother is 1.” She vividly remembered.
When Liza attempted to escape, Michael caught her, leading to her mother’s intense anger.. Liza also disclosed that her stepfather, Michael, would physically abuse her when her mother wasn’t around.
However, when her mother reported Michael to the police, unfortunately, the authorities also arrested Liza’s mother, leading to Liza and her siblings being placed in foster care.
The new home.
A few months later, Liza and her sister were moved from their foster family to the house of Melissa, a high school friend of their mother’s. Their life took a turn for the worse.
Soberano shared : “Apparently I went through a few homes before I stayed the longest in. It was with this lady named Melissa. She was supposedly my mom’s high school best friend but it was very far from the truth.
“I ended up staying with her for eight months. In the beginning it was alright and then eventually she started treating me differently.
“For a while after that, they will do family movie night once a week and I was the only one to participate in family movie night because I was the family dog.
“They would literally call me the family dog and I would have to sit in like a big cardboard box behind the sofa and I would actually sit there like a dog,” she stated.
She continues : “She started really abusing me, not just psychologically. The first instance was when I was eating spaghetti at the table and this is why I have a phobia of meatballs now. I was forced to eat one and I choked. She didn’t do anything and she just watched me.
“The next instance I remember was when their actual family dog took a shit on the carpet, and she called me to clean it up.
“I went over, planning to grab a brush or a toothbrush or something, and when I came back, she asked, ‘What are you doing?’ I said, in my little girl voice, ‘I’m cleaning it, like you asked me to.’
“But she said, ‘No, I want you to use your tongue.’ I thought she was joking. until she grabbed the back of my head and forced me down onto the carpet,” she added.
They were sent back to the Philippines.
The siblings narrowly escaped that hellish place when a social worker discovered the abuse they were enduring.
Consequently, Liza and her brother were sent back to the Philippines to live with their biological father (John) due to their grandparents’ deteriorating health. By that time, their mother had already established a family of her own.
