DJ Koo Jun Yup, commonly known as DJ Koo, has been observed by some Taiwanese locals visiting the grave of his late wife, Barbie Hsu, almost daily.
He has been seen spending time alone and sitting beside the grave in the photographs shared on social media.
Barbie 48, was interred at the Chin Pao San Cemetery in New Taipei, Taiwan. She passed away earlier this year due to pneumonia, as confirmed by her sister, Dee Hsu.
In the photographs shared by the bystanders, DJ Koo can be seen looking at what appeared to be the image of his late wife through his mobile tablet. According to Korean news media The Korea Times, a Taiwanese netizen shared his brief interaction with the South Korean singer at the cemetery.
A netizen shared : “I took a group to Jinbaoshan (Chin Pao San) Cemetery to lay flowers for Barbie Hsu. I saw a man sitting alone in the center of the graveyard. As I approached, I realized it was Koo Jun-yup. He politely thanked us.”
Other internet users have observed the significant increase in DJ Koo’s tan skin. Concurrently, bystanders have shared their experiences witnessing the South Korean singer visiting the grave of Barbie on a daily basis.
Netizen commented : “I used to think visiting a loved one’s grave every day was unrealistic. But Koo completely changed my view. We quietly laid our flowers and left without disturbing him.”
DJ Koo and Barbie Hsu married in February 2022 after rekindling their old romance after more than two decades. In a previous post, he expressed how much pain he felt at the passing of his loved one.
“My angel returned to heaven. I want to express my gratitude to everyone mourning Hsu… Right now, I am going through indescribable sorrow and suffering, feeling a gut-wrenching pain.” DJ Koo shared.
Barbie rose to fame after she starred in the hit 2001 Taiwanese series Meteor Garden, where she played the role of Shan Cai.
