In Toni Gonzaga’s latest episode of the Toni talks, along with MC and Lassy, the seasoned comedians candidly discussed their “Silent Addiction.”
According to MC and Lassy, there were instances when they performed in comedy bars without sufficient sleep due to their frequent visits to casinos.
“Kaya namin kinukuwento ito para sakaling maging lesson,” MC shared.
“Kasi uuwi ako ng after ng comedy bar, saan ako pupunta? Baka hindi ako makatulog? May naghikayat sa akin, sabi niya, ‘Eto o, baka maaliw ka,’” MC added.
Lassy agreed to MC : “Halimbawa, nag-show kami ng gabi. So diretso kami nang madaling-araw, aabutin ng umaga, tanghali, hapon.
“Uuwi lang, maliligo, show ulit. Ganun nangyayari. Minsan iidlip lang ng 30 minutes, show ulit.” Lassy added.
Furthermore, Lassy disclosed that his collection of jewelry ended up in pawnshops, where he was unable to settle the principal amount but only the interest.
“Ang dami kong alahas. Nasangla ko yun. Ang binabayaran ko na lang sa sanglaan, yung interest. Kasi hindi ko pa siya matubos,” Lassy said.
According to Lassy and MC, their overall loss in the casino amounted to over PHP10 million.
Lassy disclosed his intention to rectify his life by refraining from gambling in casinos.
Lassy said : “Gusto ko nang ayusin ang buhay ko. Gusto ko nang magkaroon ng bahay.”
