Sabrina M. reacts to Vice Ganda’s bad joke.

Sabrina M. was deeply hurt when Vice Ganda made fun of her dark past during the “Super Divas” concert held on August 8 and 9 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

During the concert show, Vice made a joke that included the words “Pustiso ang ngipin,” “naka-away dati ni Rosanna,” and “’Yung nahuli (nakulong),” which immediately offended Sabrina.

The actress finds it disrespectful to revisit the painful aspects of her dark past, especially since she has long resolved the issue of her involvement in illegal drugs.

Vice Ganda’s joke about Sabrina M.

According to Sabrina, she felt ‘Pinaglaruan’ and ‘Tinapak-tapakan’ as she was the main subject of a comedian’s bad joke at Super Diva’s concert.

Sabrina is referring to the part of the concert where Vice asked Regine about her favorite Gen Z singer.

The joke went like this :

Vice: “Sinong favorite [Gen Z singer] mo ba?”

Got a credit card from other banks?

Yung nahuli?”

Regine: “Hindi.”

Vice: “Sinong Sabrina?”

Regine: “Sabrina, yung kapitbahay niyo… may sariling album.”

Vice: “Sabrina Carpenter…”

Sabrina immediately vented her anger on social media. Its very wrong..pwede ka magpatawa ng wala kang lalaitin o matatapakan…from comedy bar to noontime show to concert…haist…VERY WRONG.”

For Sabrina, she was bullied by Vice, which led her to believe that the It’s Showtime host might have also been bullied during her youth.

Yung ginagawa niya is another form of bullying.

Sabrina M added.

Sabrina’s emotional distress was further intensified by her children’s reaction to Vice’s discussion of a sensitive matter that she claimed had caused her trauma.

“Even yung mga anak ko, nasasaktan,” Sabrina said.

How did Sabrina begin in the entertainment industry?

Sabrina M.’s entry into the entertainment industry commenced with her participation in the 1993 Mutya ng Pilipinas pageant.

Although she didn’t secure the coveted main title, she was awarded the Miss Photogenic prize—a feat that she considers fulfilling her mother’s wish for her to participate in the competition.

In 1995, Sabrina made a daring move into acting when she was offered the lead role in the biographical film “Karanasan” (The Claudia Zobel Story).

During this project, she adopted the screen name Sabrina M., a decision inspired by the director’s intention to create a memorable and enigmatic persona—leaving “M.” intentionally ambiguous to spark curiosity.

After her debut, Sabrina M. carved out a niche in the 1990s’ sexy film industry, captivating audiences with a series of provocative roles throughout that era.
