Marjorie Barretto, a renowned actress, recently accomplished a significant personal milestone by graduating from college at the age of 51.

On Instagram, Marjorie shared photos from her graduation day, all smiles as she donned her cap and gown. She expressed her excitement, saying, “The sweetest part? My children were there to witness it”.
On the highlight of her graduation, Marjorie expressed that witnessing her family celebrate this milestone in her life was the most significant moment for her.
She shared : “At 51 years old, I finally wore this cap and gown. For years, finishing college was a dream tucked away — paused for show business, raising children, public service, business, and building a life.
“But God never forgot. In His perfect time, He gave me the courage to return, the strength to push through, and the joy of crossing this finish line,
“To my loved ones who inspired me, pushed me, and talked me out of my panic and anxieties — thank you from the bottom of my heart.
“And to those my age who still carry dreams in their hearts: it’s never too late, and you are never too old, to realize the dreams God placed in you.” she marked on Instagram.
Leon also graduates from college.
Marjorie’s son, Leon, also graduated from college and celebrates with his own social media post saying : “Not a lot of people can say they graduated college the same year as their mom.”
Marjorie’s children were present to celebrate with her, taking photos, presenting her with flowers, and witnessing this significant milestone. She graduated with a Bachelor’s in Communication Arts at Philippine Women’s University.
While her son, Leon, graduated with a degree in Marketing from the University of Asia and the Pacific.
