Social media personality Jam Magno issued her statement regarding Vice Ganda’s joke about the Dutertes during his concert.
How did the issue start?
During the Vice Ganda and Regine Velasquez concert held on August 8 and 9 at the Araneta Coliseum in Cubao, Quezon City, the comedian made a joke about the Dutertes.
Vice jokingly said : “Nothing beats a jet ski holiday, right now from Manila to the West Philippine Sea via jetski.
“Get unlimited water bombing from Chinese vessels and a free trip to The Hague by the ICC (International Criminal Court).
“Promo applies to DDS only. Pinklawans and BBMs are prohibited. Huwag niyo akong subukan, mga pu****i** niyo,” Vice added.
The Diehard Duterte Supporters (DDS) firmly believe that the current situation involving the former president should not be taken lightly or treated as a joke.
They strongly advise Vice President to exercise caution regarding “karma,” emphasizing that the Duterte family has not wronged him in any way.
DDS fan said : “super yabang na talaga nitong Vice na ‘to, bahala na karma sayo. it’s time to unfollow him.”

Vice lost a significant number of followers.
Vice’s followers on Facebook dropped after he made a joke about the Dutertes during his concert.
The comedian celebrated his Facebook page’s 20 million followers on August 8th, but Vice lost thousands of followers since yesterday.

In response to the social media uproar caused by Vice Ganda’s Duterte joke, Jam Magno shared her thoughts.
She clarified that she’s not defending Vice, but she hopes DDS fans will understand his comedic nature.
In Tagalog Magno said : “Beshies.. bago ako matulog ngayong gabi gusto ko lang kayo chikahan tungkol sa dami talagang na-stroke [na mga DDS] about kay Vice Ganda.
“I’m not defending him. gusto ko lang talaga ipranka kayo dahil sa galit niyo sa kanya. yes hindi ko kayo pakikialaman dahil para sa inyo mga perfect naman kayo..
“Gusto ko lang makita ninyo [mga DDS] Ang ‘The Other Side’. Ilagay din po ninyo sa inyong mga sarili.. I know imposible ito sa mga utak na sarado pero hear me out.” she started.
According to Jam, regardless of Vice Ganda’s remarks to Rodrigo Duterte, the former president will understand the comedian because they have been friends for a long time.
As per Magno, DDS fans are overlooking the fact that Vice Ganda was one of the individuals who interviewed Duterte before he secured the presidency.
Magno revealed that Vice Ganda was the only one who accepted Duterte’s invitation for an interview, despite the numerous times the former president approached other media.
