Jeren Jude Bacas Nebit, a 28-year-old vlogger better known online as Thailand Girl, was arrested on August 8, 2025, after his arrest warrant was issued.

The warrant pertains to an online libel case under Republic Act 10175, also known as the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012. The bail amount is set at ₱48,000.

After his arrest, Thailand Girl was taken to the Koronadal City Police Station for documentation and proper handling.
His case was filed as Criminal Case No. R-DVO-25-02683.
A report from the city police station, led by Lt. Col. Peter Pinalgan, revealed that a joint police team comprising officers from this city and Davao City executed the operation to apprehend Jeren Jude N. Bacas, a single individual widely recognized as TG or Thailand Girl.
The vlogger was arrested at 11:56 a.m. at his residence in Barangay Morales.
Judge Clarissa Superable, the presiding judge of the Regional Trial Court Branch 52, issued a warrant of arrest in Davao City on May 20, last year.
Thailand Girl was detained at the Koronadal police station while awaiting the commitment order issued by the court that issued the warrant.
Upon his arrest, the Koronadal police station informed Bacas of his constitutional rights.
